Litini is the managing partner of the firm. Having originally been a secondary school deputy head teacher, she retrained and joined Kilvingtons as a partner in 2009. She works mainly in private client matters (wills, estate administration, powers of attorney) and residential conveyancing.
Alex works primarily for commercial and farming clients on all matters relating to commercial and agricultural property including first registration of land at the Land Registry, easements, option agreements and leases for wind turbines, sales and purchases of farms and farm land and commercial and agricultural tenancy agreements. As an ex-woodland manager Alex has a particular interest in the forestry industry, and acts for woodland purchasers on a frequent basis. Alex is also the firm’s specialist in family matters.
Anthony joined the firm in 1973 and after many years running it on his own has in recent years handed over the reins to Litini but still continues to work for long standing clients and assists members of the team in all areas of law as and when requested.
Susan is the wills and probate assistant. She joined Kilvingtons in 2014 having previously worked in the scientific sector for ten years. During her time with us Susan has obtained the CILEx Professional Diploma in Law and Practice (level 3) and is now working on her level 6 qualifications. She mainly deals with wills and estate administration but is also able to assist with powers of attorney, residential conveyancing and commons registrations.
Tracy previously worked in the conveyancing department at a firm of solicitors and also with a local estate agent both in Lancashire. Tracy started at Kilvington Solicitors in 2011 and is the conveyancing assistant having achieved a CILEx level 3 certificate in law and practice (conveyancing) and now working towards obtaining the CILEx Professional Diploma in Law and Practice (level 3).
A local lass from a farming background, following promotion from receptionist, Anne is now the firm’s accounts and office manager keeping the rest of us and our files in order.
Gillian has joined the firm as the receptionist just recently and looks forward to welcoming our clients, old and new, to the business. She relocated to Cumbria in 2010 from the North East.
After finishing a degree in Fine Art at Leeds Beckett University, Gina decided to come back to her hometown and pursue a different path whilst continuing to make art alongside. She is the administrative assistant to the fee earners.
Izzy is the office welfare dog, happily receiving cuddles and treats whenever we have a moment to spare.
